More pics (hopefully better quality) to come later. Right now here is how I saw Montana through an iPhone lens...

Catch and Release

Baby sister came to stay with us last week. We took her camping IN A TENT. She probably won't come back. The weather was absolutely perfect and even on the chilly side. We built a fire and wore sweatshirts in the middle of July. Plus, she's only going to be younger than 16 for one more year, so we HAD to take her to Dry Run Creek before then.

First fly fishing lesson.

Essential fishing footwear.

Trey says she's a good listener unlike her big sister.

Oh and Gus came too! His first camping trip!

She caught her first fish within 5 minutes.

Gus had to kiss it.

Wait, get my good side, Mom.

It's all about getting close to the fish with fly fishing, so in the water they went! Water that's 50 degrees on a warm day.

Cold much, baby sister??

Sweet smile.

 Trey tying on a fly.

Big fish on!

Her first attempt at holding one.

Are we looking at your elbow or the fish, baby sis? We've joked about this pic for days.

Then she got tired.

Bored.

But then she caught another fish! And almost squeezed its brains out!

Let's try this again. Hold the fish firmly yet gently.

Good job and great picture!

 Can you find the rainbow???

Big sister's turn to net the catches.

The bites were a bit slow the next morning, so I worked on close ups of fly fishing gear.

 Back cast.

Can you find the brown???

Had an interruption from a beaver.

Reel.

Butterfly.

Biggest catch of the trip.

She did really great! She landed lots of fish on her own!

My favorite picture.

Don't worry- we catch and release.

I enjoyed every second baby sister was here! We went shopping, slept late, watched movies, cut and deseeded a huge watermelon, painted our nails, cooked dinner, and then went camping. I loved having her here. I got to tuck her in at night and make her breakfast in the morning. Hated to take her back. It's kind of like catch and release. I've got to let her go, so she can come back. I don't care how old or tall she is, she'll always be my baby sister. Who's going to be a FRESHMAN in high school! What????
